Reverse Osmosis - WG-3-3
The WG-3-3 offers leading edge reverse osmosis technology and performance in a component style unit. The WG-3 four stage process utilizes a fiber and pre carbon filter to protect the reverse osmosis membrane followed by another carbon filter to remove up to 98% of the dissolved solids normally found in water. It removes that “less than perfect” taste providing flavor that’s as fresh as spring water - glass after glass. The 3.2 gallon tank gives you enough storage so that you can use RO water for all your cooking and drinking needs.
STAGE ONE:
A 10 micron sediment or carbon filter removes dirt, rust, sediment to increase the clarity of each and every drop you drink, while also protecting the membrane.
STAGE TWO:
Granular-activated carbon to remove any organics that will shorten the life of the membrane.
STAGE THREE:
The thin film reverse osmosis membrane tolerates chlorine ( up to 1.0 ppm ) and reduces metals and salts such as lead and sodium. Carbon filters alone can not accomplish this.
STAGE FOUR:
The final filtration of water is done as it passes through a granular-activated carbon filter to remove unpleasant flavors and odors caused by chlorine and organic materials.
